Externally Generated Netlists

You can open netlists generated either by hand or from other schematic capture programs. These files usually have a filename extension of ".cir", but ".net" and ".sp" are understood. The text editor used for netlist files colorizes SPICE syntax for readability. The menu command Tools > Color Preferences can be used to adjust the colors used in the editor. Unicode is supported for netlists, as explained in General Structure and Conventions.
